Thank you to everyone who came out to Opening Night of NOUN, my first solo exhibition covering thirty years of photography.
One of the most frequent questions I got asked on Saturday night was how I narrowed down the show to 18 selections. Over my lifetime, I’ve shot thousands of photographs, so it took a couple months to make a concise edit. I had to choose images I loved and had meaning to me, while also being mindful that they had to be “hangable” on a buyer’s wall. The entire show also had to work well within the theme of “Noun.”
The final pool came down to around 70 photographs. It was so painful to trim any of these, that I decided to compile them all into a hardbound book, published through our friends at -ism.
There are only 140 copies of the book in the world, but most of them sold out Opening Night. I hand-signed each copy and PSA authenticated the autos, immediately stamping their collectability.
One thing I want to continue to do for my MONOLOGUE readership is bring you exclusive content, access, and other privileges — especially for my paid subscribers.
Just for you, I’ve set aside the remaining MONOLOGUE books HERE.
Thank you for supporting me and my work. Thank you for supporting NOUN.
Would welcome a re-print if it ever takes your fancy, Bobby! Good for you getting your photos out there. We shouldn't take that kind of care and attention for granted.
Quick and the dead here… congrats on the book… shame on me for snoozing…
