End-of-Year lists are as overcooked as collaborations, but I still love reading them from my friends and people who have good taste. I also continue to enjoy curating these lists as well. They’re a quick and easy way to earmark the art and culture that encapsulated a chapter of my life. I often return to these lists for reference.

Disclaimers per usual: This isn’t a complete list; it’s nowhere near exhaustive or precise. I can’t remember everything I consumed this year and am too lazy to dig through my files. I also didn’t read, listen to, or see everything. Like, I’m sorry that Anora isn’t on my Favorite Movies list, because I haven’t seen it yet. Lastly, there is no food, because 1) food is polarizing and 2) the purpose of this “Best of” is to share media that everyone can experience.

And if you’re looking for my Favorite Sneakers of 2024, they’re over HERE.

Podcasts

and my Absolute Favorite Things of 2024

Nothing has affected me this year like In My Time of Dying by Sebastian Junger. It haunts me as much today as the day I read it.

For my PAID subscribers only, I compiled a Spotify playlist of my favorite songs of 2024 after the jump below:
